Meet the founder

Hi, I'm Abbie, the founder of Hanova.

I've been around horses my whole life. I grew up with them, I've owned and ridden them, and honestly, the equestrian world isn't just something I do it's something I love.

But a few years into riding regularly, I kept running into the same problem: there was nowhere to buy a sports bra actually made for riding. Everything on the market was either generic gym wear that wasn't built for the saddle, or riding-specific gear that sacrificed style for support (or the other way round).

I wanted something different, a bra that was properly supportive for high-impact riding, comfortable enough for a long summer hack, and smart enough to wear confidently under a show jacket at competition. I couldn't find it. So I decided to design it myself.

That's how Hanova started, not in a boardroom, but from genuinely wanting better kit for riders like me.

Every piece is designed with the realities of riding in mind: the movement, the heat, the layering, the standard you want to hold yourself to in the ring as much as on a hack. Hanova is still a young brand, and I'm building it one rider and one honest bit of feedback at a time. I'd love for you to be part of that.
